Danica Patrick is an American former professional race car driver and the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel car racing. Now retired from racing, Danica's focus has shifted to her role as an entrepreneur and her life's passions: good food, great wine, fitness and helping others thrive. In this episode of The HEAL Podcast, I sit down with my good friend to talk about her life after racing and her own personal wellness journey -including how spirituality has impacted her life. Danica and I have so much in common, including the same birthday (albeit different years), so we could talk all things wellness for hours. We touch upon her daily practices, her spiritual beliefs, and how she navigates this incredibly intense time in history. We also discuss some sensitive topics around Covid with the intention to embrace all sides via common ground and remind us of our innate human need for community. We need healthy communication and compassion to counter the cancel culture that has consumed and corroded us in recent years. Danica is Pretty Intense (as her podcast is appropriately titled) so buckle up and let’s roll!
