Create a Custom WooCommerce payment gateway from Cash on Delivery Gateway

All payment gateways in WooCommerce will begin by extending the WC_Payment_Gateway class so in this video, we run through how you can extend the Payment class to make your own gateway.

- We strip the default Cash on delivery gateway to enjoy its existing functions that are well written to enjoy their benefits
- Write our own order statuses.
- Extend the payment_process function to make our API calls.

Woocommerce allows us to extend its in-built payment system to write our own native payment gateways with different payment aggregators in our localities. This is especially needed in communities that have more payment methods other than Credit/Debit cards or PayPal.

After this video, you should be able to add mobile payments or other forms of payments into your Woocommerce website.
