Coronavirus lockdown has been extended until May 31 across the country. Corona Lockdown 4.0 offers a lot of concessions as compared to the previous ones. As per the new guidelines given by the Union Home Ministry, under COVID-19 lockdown 4.0, e-commerce companies can deliver things everywhere, except in the containment zone i.e. the area where one or more active cases of coronavirus have been found. The government announced the relaxations for e-commerce firms as it released new guidelines for the nationwide lockdown, which has been extended for a third time, till May 31.
People will now be able to order products from companies like Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart, etc. Under the new guideline, e-commerce companies can now deliver non-essential items along with essentials in all the zones which are free from coronavirus positive cases. Now, people will be able to order all kinds of goods including mobiles, laptops, clothes, etc. Watch the video for more details.
