Commerce, the reciprocal exchange of goods and services, has been and continues to be, a crucial part of the human experience since our humble beginnings.

However, over the last century, we’ve often witnessed the business world taken to extremes. Exploitation of workers, the use of Earth’s resources without consideration of the long-term impacts on our environment, and the rise of income inequality and instability.

Part of my soul mission is to amplify the voices of conscious, entrepreneurial leaders who are straddling the existing business climate while also setting the tone and culture for the future of conscious commerce.

Innovators who are making mindful choices about the services and products they offer, the relationships and collaborations they develop, and how to present themselves authentically in the public marketplace.

I am honored to feature this first interview in the series, with executive coach and motivational speaker, Sheri Watts.

I've known Sheri for 25 years; we met when she was serving as a Board member of a non-profit organization I worked for at the time. Sheri was the first person I knew who owned a coaching business and as I look back, her confident, principled approach was an early inspiration for me. Who knew many years later, I would decide to launch my coaching business?

Sheri has worked as a coach and trainer with executives and leadership teams for top corporations internationally.

Her motto is, 'I treat people how to be nice to each other'. The world can certainly use more of that, right?
