Career Advice From a BILLIONAIRE [SPOTAK] // I recently listened to a podcast with a really interesting guy by the name of Marc Lore.

If you haven't heard of him already, Marc is most commonly known as the founder of the e-commerce company Jet.com, which he sold to Walmart in 2016 for $3.3 billion.

And even though success in e-commerce isn’t necessarily directly related to building a career in the real estate industry, Marc actually cut his own teeth in a high finance career path himself, working in analytical and risk management roles at major financial services firms.

And in the podcast (and in a dedicated LinkedIn post he wrote back in 2018), Marc shared some pretty unique thoughts around the way he goes about finding and building teams, which I thought were directly applicable to the real estate industry, and concisely summed up what the biggest players in CRE are also looking for in job candidates right now.
