Breaking: eBay announces "eBay Vault" | Some thoughts and implications

Apparently, someone has roused the #ContentGods from their slumber and here we are.

eBay announces a Vault as part of it's Investor Day, which opens up a ton of possibilities where they can incorporate technology to be able to include the authentication piece along with potentially linking it to grading, moving items from one vault user to another, in turn competing with existing vaulting services like PWCC and even a COMC along with Starstock like functionality, but with eBay's userbase and market share.

eBay even invokes discussions of fractional, which opens up another whole can of worms.

Definitely some interesting discussion points. I welcome any thoughts you might have.
