تدور أحداث مسلسل “بابا علي” حول رجل بسيط في علاقته بمحيطه العائلي والمجتمعي، داخل قرية أمازيغية، ترصد غنى الطبيعة والتراث المغربي، وقصة العمل مستوحاة من شخصية “علي بابا” الأسطورية.

ويعود السيناريو الخاص بالمسلسل الأمازيغي إلى ابراهيم علي بوبكدي وأحمد نتاما، فيما جرى تصوير مشاهده السابقة بدوار تاكموت نواحي تلات نيعقوب، تحت إشراف المخرج مصطفى أشاور، من إنتاج شركة “وردة”.
