My name is Justin and I am a UC Berkeley trained Media Analyst and cosmological Physicist who owns a Pokémon, collectibles and consulting business called Mymanjustins Collectible Emporium. I had a job working in corporate America and within several months, I decided to create my own life and set out on this journey.
In this video, I go through an Empirical study that focused on two eBay stores that were created by researchers. The study uses signal theory to differentiate the two stores through positive and negative e-signals in the name of the store and the quality and clarity of the policy's and descriptions. In the end, it was found that the store with the positive e-signals got bids 1.26 days sooner (on average), had 21 percent more bids and most importantly, had a 17.6 percent premium on price sold for the same items as the other store.
This video is a good study for anyone creating on online business and their online image.
I also engage in a pragmatic philosophy within the study to correlate the findings to everyday lives and interpersonal relationships.
If you are interested in selling your Pokémon card collection, I would love to talk about striking a deal. Leave a comment or message me on my Instagram at "mymanjustins_collectibles"
