Amazon Pharmacy, Storage Limits, & Walmart’s Q3 Earnings Soar | Helium 10 Weekly News

On Tuesday, Amazon Pharmacy announced that online shoppers can now buy their prescription medications directly on Amazon for “convenient and reliable access without leaving home.” In addition, Prime Shoppers will be able to receive “unlimited, free two day deliveries.”

Amazon announced this week that there will be no changes to the IPI storage limits until mid-December, and that ASIN quantity limits will remain in effect for now. Some sellers have noted slower times in checking in inventory, or in picking up larger shipments.

In some situations, sellers have gotten messages from Amazon indicating that they quote, “Are still temporarily prioritizing household staples, medical supplies, and other high-demand products coming in and out of our fulfillment centers so that we can more quickly receive, restock, and deliver these products to customers.”

Walmart had a phenomenal Q3. “Walmart’s U.S. e-commerce sales soared by 79% in the third quarter, as customers continued to shop online during the coronavirus pandemic,” according to CNBC. As we have reported here all year long, there has been a massive shift to online shopping since the outbreak of Covid-19. These new habits are expected to turn into permanent shopping habits. Since then, Walmart’s e-commerce business has experienced explosive growth.
