Amazon plans to double its cap on base salarie

Amazon, the e-commerce giant, is planning to increase the overall compensation range for most of their jobs globally, according to a memo released by the company. It stated that the increases were 
much more "considerable" than in the past. Last year, the company upped its average initial wage for operations staff in the US to more than $18 an hour. The move had come against the backdrop of a tight U.S. labor market.
