Welcome to thrifting champions. One action item series, where we talk about one thing each week that will make your reselling business better.
Last week we talked about stale inventory. Next on the list is that dead pile of unlisted stuff. You know what I'm talking about its that stuff that we've just never seem to be able to get around to listing. But it's all money that you turned into stuff. Then the job is to turn that stuff back into more money. So let's dig in. Start with a dreaded item or a box of dreaded items that you just never seem to get around the listing. Once you get through that, it gets easier from there.
Make herself a rule.
Each item you touch has to go somewhere. Give yourself three choices, either list it, keep it as personal or donate it, but it doesn't go back in the dead pile. You can bundle several things in one listing, just for speed. You can do an auction, let the market decide what it's worth. And if it's stuff you really don't want to sell.
That's great. No problem. Just move it out of your selling space into your personal space. And if it's really unworthy of being in your store, that's okay too. Just donate it somewhere at least you get the space back. So turn that dead stuff back into money so you can invest it in more stuff,
and remember it's only worth what someone's willing to pay you for it. So thanks for watching and let me know how it goes.
